Critics of women in combat believe that women are more emotional than men because the way our brains work. Studies found that women feel pain, make social decisions, and cope with stress differently.

Who are we to stop women from protecting our country? Supporters of women in combat believe that the Exclusion Policy should not be allowed. “The exclusion policy institutionalized the unequal treatment of women,” according to a Washington law firm (Zucchino). This states that Washington recognizes the policy; the policy basically establishes the inequality treatment of women in combat. In the military, serving in combat positions like the infantry remains crucial to career advancement. Women have long said that by not recognizing their real service, the military has unfairly held them back. There has been many discussion about discrimination. Yet there is still discrimination on the most basic topic; women and men equality. Although women are achieving the same standards as men and having the same training; the military is holding women back for no reason. In 1994, the Pentagon ruled that women are restrained from artillery, armor, infantry, and many other combat duty, although many females always find themselves in combat. Still, hundreds of women has served in these problems. But still they are doing their job with all these restrictions. In conclusion there is a lot of discussion on women in combat. I, personally believe that women should be in combat because every women is as capable as every men. Women has been discriminated by their gender for a while now, there has to be an end to this. If a woman is willing to help serve her country and want to be in combat, who are we to stop them. Not everyone is willing to risk their life for their nation. The more people willing to help the better. Men have a small vision, they only focus on what they are meant to do. Whereas to women, we are able to think/look outside the box. One of my favorite quotes about women is,“A women is like a teabag. It’s only when she is in hot water that you know how strong she is.”
