The Olympics, the one day every 4 years where all 196 countries come together to race and score big for the title of first place or winner of the Olympic Games. One came to the conclusion that the Olympics should not have a permanent home as the result of the many positive outcomes of other cities that have made a fortune. Having a permanent home for this major event gives countries that would like to host a chance to advance in the city’s infrastructure. After one searched threw many articles one felt that the city for the Olympics should move around because it boosts the economy of the city, it promotes national pride, and the return on investment is very high. If a city wins the bid for the Olympics they’re in for a treat. The city that wins the bid has a has a great chance of being successful after the Olympics because of all the money they earn as well as what they can do with the money to help the city. Some countries that have not been successful are Beijing, Sochi, and Rio, these cities definitely did not plan ahead because they lost up to $40 millions on the venues (Wendel). If these cities want to host this major sporting event then they need to plan head and think for the future to be able to prosper.
