To be Heroic

To be a hero you need many different characteristics. A her has to be someone who is brave, helps others and saves lives. My first reason to be a hero is that you have to be brave. One way in the real world to be a hero is anywhere from a firefighter to the the military. You have to be brave because you know you could lose your life. In the Epic Poem The Odyssey Odysseus has to be brave. One thing he did to be brave was lead his men on a ship knowing that six of them were going to die. Other characteristics you need to do in order to be a hero is to help others. That would come from helping an elderly lady cross the street or giving a homeless person food. One thing that odysseus did to help others in the story was he put stormy winds in a bag so that they will not harm the Ithacans. …show more content…

In the real world this could be from saving a dog to a firefighter rescuing someone from a burning building.In the the story The Odyssey, Odesseus saved his army from the bad men.
