The reporting party (RP) stated foster child Alexandria Pereira was exposed to emotional trauma when the foster parents initiated media coverage of the child's removal from the foster home on 3/19/16. The foster child experienced emotional harm when filmed by the media. The foster child was exposed to the foster parents’ biological children screaming, crying and calling out her name. Family members of foster parent Summer Page banged on the car door as the foster child was being transported way from the home. RP met with the foster child on 3/21/16 as she described feeling embarrassed by all the cameras during her removal. Additionally she stated she did not like it when they banged on the car.
