The Importance Of Workplace Safety

Workplace safety for both managers and their employees should be a principal concern of all management. Safety at work speaks of “preventing injury and illness to employees and volunteers in the workplace (Nonprofit Risk Management Center, 2008).” No one wants to go to work in an unsafe environment, therefore, it is my firm belief that the management of all organizations and/or businesses should take it upon themselves to ensure that all their workers, regardless of how powerful or insignificant they may be in their organization and/or business, should be protected whilst at work.
