Earth's climate is changing, it is possible at an unprecedented rate. Overall, the earth is warming, sea ice and glaciers retreat, sea level rise, as well as pollutants accumulate in the environment and in vivo. These clear physical change will undoubtedly affect marine ecosystems. This research is talking about the important of dolphin in the ecosystem, causes of dolphin being threatened to extinction and the discussion about the way to protect dolphin.

Since they are the top predators in the ocean food chain, several species of fish and squid they consume concentrated in their bodies can be used in contaminants in water (Kester, 2008). They infectious diseases among fish populations and ensure the reproduction of fisheries resources. It has been proven in many studies, the elimination of top predators in marine ecosystems have an adverse impact on the entire ecosystem of the cascade (Crispin, 2008).
