Communication is the number one cause of downfall in every relationship and also one of the most essential elements of any healthy relationship. Every couple must learn to understand each other better and recognize and accept each others’ point of view. When you love but don’t fully appreciate each other you will be destined to have a rocky journey ahead. When couples are willing to talk about everything and step into each other’s shoes to look at problems, then that will be the starting point of an ideal marriage. In marriage, a couple would always want to have a solid bond. That would mean both are ready for long time commitments of love, loyalty and respect to make the marriage work. If you are trying to communicate about a possible problem, focus on that topic, give a sample to make sure that your spouse understands and give a possible solution which you would want to share with him or her. Let spouses know and feel that making decisions to solve a problem include each other. It would also be good to remember to have an open mind about everything that you want to communicate with your spouses. You must be able to clearly communicate to him or her about your needs and requirements, and knowing about his or hers as well. Communication is critical for a healthy marriage. Some people describe the ideal marriage as a two-way street. Make your communication a two way street, suggest to him to talk first and you will listen, then you should repeat what he said until both of you already understand each other and make sure that there are no misinterpretations about what was said. Lack of open communication about money issues can endanger the marriage more than the money problems alone. In marriage honesty is very important. don’t keep money secrets from your spouse. Whether you have a hidden credit card, or bags from a recent shopping spree stashed in the back of the closet, now is the time to come clean. Being honest especially about major spending mistakes or large purchases can be tough. But if you 're not honest, those money fights will just keep happening. Ask your spouse to work with you to deal with the debt. If it 's an addiction, then agree to get help or counseling. Whatever it is, couples must work together. If it is debt, then get another job to pay it off, or sell some junk, a yard sale or something to make up the debt. Couples have to remember why they became a team in the first place. To support each other through good and bad times. They need to stay positive and focused on being a financial team. Money secrets will stress marriages. Keeping financial secrets, especially tragic ones, can lead to divorce. Remember that no matter how difficult finances get, working them out together is part of your marriage.
