Do you have a significant other and love them? A crucial part of a relationship is to have love. However, do you ever think of a question, if your girlfriend or boyfriend acquired factors into being disabled, will you choose to keep loving them, or you will change your attitude and abandon them? The main character, Christopher in the novel The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time has autism, due to his disabilities, his mother left him at a young age, leaving his father to care for him. Because he has autism, many special things happen to him; he has been sent to a special school, which is only available those with disabilities. He cannot understand the meaning from reading the other person’s expression and cannot eat food which is touching each other. People use different attitude to treat Christopher, they think Christopher is an encumbrance and will get into trouble if contact too much. He is special from most of our eyes, but should this be the reason why his mom choice to leave him and the reason his father lied to him? Because he father did not want to get into troubles. Should this be the reason why people look him differently and consider he is different from people without disabilities. …show more content…

His father hided the letter which was sent by his mom (haddon 103). His father do not want to get into trouble for explaining what happen to his mom, and he knew what reaction that Christopher will have after Christopher knew he was abandoned by his mom instead of what his father told him. Indeed, Christopher was shocked by knowing his mom still alive, and spent a long to recover.
