Relations between Adam and the homeless people from the shelter became deep. For example, he learned from Easy E for a cheaper way for him to save money for his laundry. Which was by him washing his clothes in the shower with soap and let dry after. He was able to learn from other people as well along the way. Such as, Sergeant Mendoza who is also known as “Sarge”; was trying to always give Adam good advice. Especially, mostly when he first came to the shelter. That really stood out to him. Later, He was able to learn ways of life and how people had to make it to live during their time in the shelter.
