I have decided to do my research paper on the Bahamas. The Bahamas have always amazed me when I watch the commercials on TV. This summer I will be going to Atlantis in the Bahamas and I’m very excited to be able to visit there. I thought that the Bahamas would be perfect for my paper for the fact that when I do go down there I will know a lot more about the physical and human area’s of geography there.
The first part of my research was over the population. The population in the Bahamas is approx. 319,000 people. That estimate doesn’t include the amount of people that visit there each month for vacations, which the Bahamas is a very common spot for honeymoons. The weather and climate in the Bahamas is a mild climate and the temperatures average around 72 degrees Fahrenheit. It is said that the most time to explore the Bahamas would be between September and May. The temperature then averages 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit. The rest of the year is normally warmer with high humidity in the summer months. The nighttime temperatures are generally 74 degrees Fahrenheit.
I really did enjoy researching the Bahamas. I learned a lot that I would have never know about it. I never realized that the Bahamas is a packed place with families living there plus on top of that all the tourism that they get there. Its very interesting that their tourism is making the island survive. After researching the Bahamas I would recommend people to go there and explore the cultural that they have there.
