Did you know, in 1621, the Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast that is acknowledged today as one of the first Thanksgiving celebrations in the colonies? Thanksgiving is a holiday to give thanks. I am thankful for my family, my friends, and my teachers at school. You should always be thankful, for a big gift, or even just a tiny little one. When you give thanks, it can warm someone's heart or make them feel good about themselves.

Whenever you need a person to laugh with, or someone to lean on, you friend is there for you. If you are not in a good mood, or you woke up on the wrong side of the bed, your friend will cheer you up. I’m thankful when my friends bring me out of my depressing mood, or when I wake up on the wrong side of the bed. Without friends you wouldn’t be able to get out of your bad mood, and you’ll always be sad.

The last thing I’m thankful for is my siblings. If they weren’t in my life, I would be sad because, I would have no one to talk to about life, or video games. Friends are great, but no one can compare to siblings. They are the reason I have loads of love to share. My older brother always talks to me about things we can’t talk about with our parents. He is always there for me and we don’t fight at all. My other younger siblings are great because they give us a reason to get off the couch to help them.
