Reflection
When reflection upon my lesson that I taught, I feel that I taught in a multimodal way to deepen the students understanding of the material being taught. I had never designed a meson plan for any students before especially not 5-year-old students. Therefore, I wanted to be sure that I could accurately convey the concept to the children. So, when it came to constructing my lesson, I wanted to make sure that I included auditory, visual, and tactile strategies in my lesson so I reach all the students different learning modalities.

This factor is not visible in my artifacts but I did notice it when I was teaching. I noticed that once the students become captivated with the lesson, the class would all seem to simultaneously raise their hands to talk or some would just yell out the answer. Therefore, I need to come up with strategies and phrases to halt the student responses so I can continue teaching. I also had to learn that it is okay not to answer all the students’ questions to converse time and finish the lesson. One more thing that I need to use in my further lesson is when I asked a lesson clarifying question to just ask it once. There was a situation where I was the students if they had any questions that pertained to the concept or to the worksheet which multiple people raised their hands. I answered a couple of questions then repeated myself just incase there was any last minute thinkers but when I answered the second set of questions it seemed to get off topic and didn’t pertain to the concept or worksheet. So, I think that I will only ask that clarifying question once to refrain from veering off topic before the students are suppose to complete a worksheet that pertains to the concept taught in the
