Techball is an all-in-one device that can train, play and communicate with dogs.
It is capable of performing a variety of functions based on a dog’s behavior. First of all, one of the most common situations a dog owner faces is when their dog barks willfully in the public, creating loud noises while incurring complaints. Techball, unlike existing products which would release an electric buzz over the dog’s vocal cord on sensing vibrations, gently emits a smell that is not favorable to dogs. When the camera—which also contains also a sound detector—detects barking sounds, it automatically releases a smell of, say, citrus to repel dogs. This is undoubtedly more dog-friendly, as a majority of people

Another headache for pet owners is that their canine would jump on the bed or sofa to make it messy and dirty, and pee in random places. In the case of this, Techball will stop the dog from going into certain areas in a house with its internal motion detective camera by emitting a “high-pitched tone and whistles” (Tevlin, R. 2010) to distract dogs. As most dogs hate this kind of sound, they will gradually associate this sound with the areas they are forbidden to enter, thereby, easing dog owners’ worry when they are out of the home.
In addition, Techball can move based on the pre-programmed moving patterns, including rolling and bouncing up and down. This frees pet owners from tiring out from hours of training and playing with their dog. The ball sends out signals to have a dog sit, lie down, jump, run, make a turn, and retreat. When the camera installed in the device detects correct motions from the dog, it automatically dispenses treats to reward the
They use a special kind of rubber called butyl rubber. A machine helps to write on the balls to put the letters on it. Some balls are made with higher quality thread.
The main objective of the system is to be able to identify and retrieve golf balls. There are five main components of the system, namely, the PC compartment, the remote control, the wheels and chassis, the vision system, and the ball counter. The vision system used is the modified desktop computer. Wheels and chassis are utilized to have the mobot move around the field. The robot is capable of moving around and retrieving golf balls by itself, but the user has the option of controlling the robot through the use of the remote control or the master control of the robot. The robot consists of a front wheel which is the caster wheel and a back wheel or the rubber wheels.
This procedure is very helpful is an owner lives in an apartment or anywhere that someone can easily hear a dog. The procedure doesn’t completely change how the dog barks. It only softens it. It makes the bark not so loud and sharp to the ears. When the dog recovers from the surgery, many of them don’t seem to notice at all that their bark is any different. Resulting in them barking just like normal, but it is much softer to the human

There is so much technology all across the world like in sports, homes, stores and schools. Technology can be used for many things but this paper will show how it can be used in America's Pastime, Baseball.
Football, America’s great pastime and most popular sport. Why do we love it so much? People enjoy the shared experience, the socialization it offers. Others appreciate the technical aspects of the game, the strategy involved, what it takes to win. Some are in it just for the money, playing fantasy football leagues to owning the teams themselves. This passion has led to the technological improvement of all aspects of the game, how it’s viewed, played, and managed.
These dogs can use either the scent in the air or the scent of a specific object to find the person that they are looking for. In this article the staff discusses research conducted by their organization called American Kennel Club. A staff member of the American Kennel Club states, “They can be used in many different situations, including disasters- such as earthquakes where dogs can find people beneath the rubble- cadaver searches, drowning situations, and avalanches,” (AKC Staff 2018). The training for search and rescue is a very strict process starting from puppyhood. The most common breeds that work as a search and rescue dog are German Shepherds, Labrador Retriever, Golden Retrievers, and Bloodhounds. These dogs are chosen for many reasons such as their intelligence, strength, size, obedient, eagerness, temperament, and gentleness. This is important because many people could be in danger and we don’t have the abilities that dogs have to search for them, so because of these search and rescue dogs we are able to find the information we need to locate and rescue the people in danger. Search and rescue dogs help us find the important information that we need to find the ones in

The Clicker. - When they do something good they would use the clicker to let the dog know that they have done a good thing as then they can keep that up.
She has been barking recently more than usual. So we bought an anti bark machine. Which conditions the dog in a way that everytime she barks the machine plays a high pitched noise that only the dog can hear. This noise is annoying to her so over time and repetition she will hopefully not bark. I say this because over time she will be conditioned in her mind that if she barks a high pitched annoying pitch will play. We have set up a system to where the dog will now over time understand that barking creates annoying noises and hopefully she will stop. This is classical conditioning because now when she thinks about barking she can only think of the loud high pitched
The basic fields of dog training are as follows: Behavioral, Obedience, Agility, and Vocational. (Bennett, n.d.) Within the Vocational aspect there are the dogs that work with other animals, trained in Hunting or Herding (Lotz, n.d.), or those that use their noses, like Police dogs and Search and Rescue, or the ever loved Service dogs, who help those with physical and mental disabilities.(Weiss-Roessler, n.d.) Within this variety, the most interesting arguably goes to the Police and Military dogs, the ones who help our service men and women fight their battles and who have outdone bomb detection devices worth millions (Ackerman, 21 Oct, 10). Let alone the fact that they are taking even greater strides in being valuable in combat situations, like Cairo, the dog who helped take down Osama Bin Laden.(Harris, 1 June, 2011, p. 1) However, the average person doesn’t need to spend the $20,000 to $40,000 (Harris, 1 June, 2011, p. 6) to turn Fluffy into a living weapon and bomb detection device. However, military dogs must still undergo basic training, as put by William Harris, author of the article How War Dogs Work, states “It's one thing to teach a dog to sit, heel and roll over. It's another thing entirely to train an animal not to bark in a combat situation, which might reveal your location to the
If you look to the diagram to the right, you will see four parts track an optical-mechanical mouse’s X-Y position movement. When the mouse is moved the ball moves in the direction of the movement. When the roller rotates, light shines through the openings. This light is detected by two light sensors, which send signals to the computer of the movement. The offset of the light that the sensors receive determines the direction of each axis. So that motion is detected, the ball needs traction between the ball and the rollers, which is a major drawback to this design.
Technology is now an integrated part of our life, and whether we like it or hate it, we can't deny that it has many advantages across many disciplines. One of the most surprising fields where new technologies are taking over, is the field of sports. Sports and tech don't really go hand in hand as people who are very active, spend little time indoors and are not so connected with new technologies. However, technology is slowly but steadily taking over the world of sports. And while there may take some time until athletes will be able to train in virtual realities, there are many affordable innovations that can improve the functionality of sports centers. In what follows, we will discuss just a few gadgets and gizmos that can be beneficial to
Canine shock collars allow citizens who have lack knowledge the ability to so call train a dog. The collars basically give the dog sometimes a warnig beep or sound, then if proceeding to do the action an electric shock to the neck. Hunters usually use this device to teach Canines to be aggressive to other animals and as punishment for wrongdoings when hunting. Shock collars can make Canines fearful of other animals, territorial, and also aggressive towards owners (Emmerson). The technology of shock collars allows humans to torture mans best friend, with electric shocks through the neck.
