“I’m not looking for the best players, I’m looking for the right players” Coach Herbs Brooks. I truly believe that professional athletes should not be allowed to compete in the Olympics, but instead of professional athletes. I believe that amateur so is able to compete.The games are not just about how much many money you can earn, or how famous you are or, how good you're at the sport. It’s about you represent our country. Why is that we want professionals player play in the Olympics? I don’t have a problem with them, but, watching the same play on TV just broad. Reason one they already get paid on average is $2.4 million! And these amateur athletes don’t even get paid in college. So it’s totally unfair that to these amateur athletes that they have to work to get paid, but these professional gets paid even to play horribly. Then the second reason not to have professionals not to play in the Olympics is that they won’t take these the game as seriously as the amateurs. They already do this for a living, people will prefer to watch a game that is more intense, instead of a game that players are giving lack of effort in the game. And my last reason is that professional should not be in the Olympics is because these professionals already have the glory and fame, but having a team of full of underdogs can provide more people to come watch these players. The last main point of not having pro athletes Olympics. I understand these professionals had worked so hard at their sport and all those tough times. But these amateurs have the same dream, but they don’t even get paid. And they don’t want to get paid, they want to do it because they loved the sport. So it’s the best having the other athletes to
