In “Why Bilinguals Are Smarter” by Yudhijit Bhattacharjee. The article mentions that being bilinguals is so benefit able thing in life. Being bilinguals not only good for improving cognitive skills, but it is also good for health as well. Bhattacharjee mentions that by being bilinguals “bilingual’s brain both language system is active even when he is using only one language” (Bhattacharjee, par. 3). In addition, there are some researchers one about bilinguals and monolinguals in solving puzzles and who has more attention and quick-witted, also there is the research about exposing two languages from the birth between two families these two types of research are in the article that supports why bilinguals are smarter. despite other people opinion that bilinguals and monolinguals are the same, I agree with Yudhijit Bhattacharjee that bilinguals are smarter and healthier. …show more content…

Bhattacharjee has indicated “Speaking two languages rather than just one has obvious practical benefits in an increasingly globalized world” (Bhattacharjee, par. 1). I extremely agree with the last sentence—being bilinguals and have more than one language brings up a lot of advantage in a person life. The person who has more than language has confidence and can deal with people more than monolinguals which they will be shy to say something wrong. From my experience, I speak three languages—that helps me to be confident and strong and am so proud of myself even when it is little broken. I can understand people very well, and I have knowledge.
