Is college education worth it? There can be no doubt that there is a strict demand for college education in our society and economic environment. It is also true that the cost of attending college can be an obstacle for many students that want to get higher education. While in high school students are informed about the need of planning for college. They get prepared to apply to universities and base their options and research on their own needs and capacities. They are also aware of the fact that college has a cost, and that now they have to focus on opportunities to cover it. College debt is a problem for many students, but there are several solutions to avoid this issue as scholarships, working during high school, or attending community college.

Also, all the students have similar needs as financial help. Scholarships are the best solution for students that want to avoid college debt. As mentioned in the article “Students Share Strategy to Avoid Debt,” a senior public relations mejor funded her education with grants and scholarships large and small (Gormus 11). There are plenty of different scholarships that can help students to cover the cost of college. Although applying for scholarships requires effort and dedication to write essays and fill out applications, they are an efficient way out of debt. It is wise of students to take advantage of all the possible scholarships, since it doesn’t matter how small or large they are, scholarships are always helpful. “It is worth to apply every opportunity” (Gormus 12).
