Researchers at hospitals have been studying for years about different types of cancers and other diseases. Researches may have just found a cure for some of them, Stem Cells. Many people may be uncomfortable with the thought of paying a lot of money for them to get this procedure and have it not work. Yes it has flaws, but so does any other medical uses. Stem cells are going to really help the world one day. The most frequently studied stem cell procedure is bone marrow. Bone marrow is a soft fatty substance in the cavities of bones, in which blood cells are produced (often taken as typifying strength and vitality). according to Mayo clinic staff “Stem cells may have the potential to be grown to become new tissue for use in transplant and regenerative medicine. Researchers continue to advance the knowledge on stem cells and their applications in transplant and regenerative medicine.” Mayo Clinic is one of many medical clinics who research Stem cells and do transplants. They always test their medicine to make sure its safe to give out before they hand it to you. Stem cells come from embryonic stem cells which are stem cells that come from embryos that are three to five days old.At this stage the embryo is called blastocyst and has around150 cells.
They also come from adult stem cells which are stem cells found in small numbers in most adult tissues. Such as bone marrow or fat. Some of the stem cells help you by producing more blood cells such as white ones that fight off infection. It also makes more red blood cells which contain Hemoglobin, which is a red iron rich protein that gives blood its color.
