711 Words2 Pages

The importance of social media today cannot be underestimated, whether for business or personal connections. Used as a business tool, a strong social media presence can enhance brand loyalty, ensure brand commitment and importantly, drive direct sales. Too often, social media users simply update their statuses or profiles without any thoughts besides driving engagement or keeping their existing followers entertained. Accordingly, little thought in placed on prospective followers or even customers/clients who may be interested in a service or product …show more content…

Accordingly, you should exercise restraint and post at most three (3) times a day (with the exception of Twitter) where you can productively tweet much more frequently.

Focus On Content That Will Attract/Captivate The Attention Of Your Ideal Clients/Customers
It does not make sense to update your social media accounts on a regular basis with content that will neither attract nor captivate the interest of your target audience or ideal customers/clients. If you however insist on doing this, it is quite clear that you'll fail faster online than you imagined - especially in the business of making sales off social media.

To ace sales and get both existing and new followers interested about your offers, you'll need to publish updates that attract and captivate their attention on a regular basis; updates that address their problems and position you as an authority that can help them address their (greatest) challenges. Once you achieve this, selling your products/services via social media will become exceptionally easy - and painless.
