There are many similarities between the two Star Wars movies A New Hope and The Force Awakens. If the plot between each movie wasn’t very similar, Kylo Ren’s resemblance to a certain dark lord of the Sith isn’t a coincidence. There’s a criminal element that’s owed a debt by Han Solo and attempts to kill him after he screws up their arrangement. J.J. Abrams made these films so similar because of various reasons; Considering the fact that you would have to watch all of the films in order to even acknowledge the similarities between the films, but to generate a healthy revenue. Which leads me on to my next point, If more money is generated from each film, the more technological advances are made in each film. (considering the various time spans
Have you ever seen Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark? In that movie if you’re paying attention you can see a faithful reproduction of the biblical account of the Ark of the Covenant – the most sacred of all objects from the Bible. It is gilded with Gold, with fine woods and carvings – with the figures of two cherubs (keruvim – those who bring God close) on top – wings outstretched and barely touching at the point where God’s presence might one day descend and perhaps glow brightly like a metaphoric shining light of truth and knowledge.
A Comparison of the Themes of Blade Runner and Brave New World ‘Humanity likes to think of itself as more sophisticated than the wild yet it cannot really escape its need for the natural world’ Despite different contexts both Aldous Huxley within his book Brave New World and Ridley Scott in the film Blade Runner explore the idea that humans feel themselves more sophisticated than the natural world, yet are able to completely sever relations between humanity and the nature. Through various techniques both texts warn their varied audiences of the negative ramifications that will come from such disdainful, careless opinions and actions. All aspects of the ‘New State’ within Aldous Huxley’s novel Brave New World indicate a belief that humanity is more sophisticated than the wild.
My reasons for this opinion are all because of the Disney movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens. First, the two movies The Force Awakens and the New Hope have the exact same plots. In all The other movies of Star Wars each plot is very different. In The Phantom Menace, the first movie in the Star Wars saga, the plot is that

Star Wars Connection Star Wars’ government is similar to the United States government is many different ways. Although, they do not share the same names there representations are almost the same. There was the Supreme Chancellor which is similar to the President, they had a clone army which is like the U.S. Army, they had the Jedi council which would have been similar to the Justices in the Judicial Branch, and a Galactic Senate which would have been similar to the United States Senate. Padme Skywalker said in the movie, “So this is how liberty dies, with thunderous applause.”
"A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...." is a line that is present in each and every Star Wars film and acts as an introduction to the Star Wars saga.
The plots of the couple are not alike at all, in fact, they’re not even the same genre. Star Wars is of the science fantasy genre. This means that the movies take elements from a lot of genres. These genres are mostly science fiction and fantasy. The science fiction element of Star Wars is shown in the first line you see, “A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.” This tells you that these stories are a speculative representation of what the world could have been like. Though I doubt that the creators really believed that the world could have been like this, especially since it seems to take place in the future, it still represents a point of view on past space life. The fantasy elements of Star Wars are shown in every movie. To be a fantasy, you must use a supernatural element as a main part of your story. The Force is a huge example of a supernatural element. An example of The Force is whenever Darth Vader chokes someone. The Force allows people tht can tap into it, the ability to control things with their minds, think faster, and even predict the future. It’s a magical element and one I doubt will be seen anytime in Earth’s coming years. Star Trek has no supernatural elements, or at least none that really are showcased in the plot. The lack of magic in their universe makes their franchise a science
The previous films in the saga had made enormous amounts of money for the studio and fans of the film citing George Lucas as a genius. In the creation of episode I, the studio had given Lucas creative freedom unlike the previous films. Although the studio still wanted it stay on budget but they did not question Lucas story elements. Also needed to follow deadline which caused a stressful situation for individuals involved. The production of the movie would fall under the collective optimism as everyone was exhilarated for the film, so no conflict arose. One of the questionable decisions was the casting of Anakin Skywalker, out of the three finalist two showed possible potential in portray him but they were not chosen. Lucas said “one would make production easier, the other I would need to have a million takes to then elevate the performance” there is a collective of agreement from almost everyone in the room with someone stating that “some people test better” (Star Wars, 2014). No one question why he wanted to create a performance in post-production instead of letting it happen on film. The other problem is that Lucas was in charge and stating what he wanted to come across and making sure every department made it happen not leaving much room for discussion, such as the sets or costume designs. Lastly, no one seemed to question the racial stereotypes that were attributed to aliens even though it could be clearly be

There are many differences and similarities in both the book and movie of Ben-Hur. Especially the differences in the character's actions and behavior of the problems they face. There are many differences in the beginning because the movie begins with the birth of Christ, but the book begins with Judah and Messala talking to each other. The movie also shows one important character that is not mentioned much in the story. In the movie, Esther takes Amrah's place, and it only shows Amrah once. In the book, Esther is not an important character, but Amrah is. Also there are some similarities between the movie and book about the chariot race Judah and Messala participated in. Although the book and movie can be different it could both have some of the same events.
Each predecessor attempts to surpass its influence, and strives to become a more rounded product for audiences. Computer graphics, sound design, practical effects, also plays a large role in how movies have changed over time. However, its popularity remains ever so present throughout pop culture society. A lot of it tries to answer: what can we become knowing how or what we are today. What can we do to enhance our future, something everyone relates to, but some movies are fictionalized. Many people strive to explore the human condition of tomorrow. Technology can provide a backdrop to compare against the individual’s within a narrative. That’s primarily why predecessors of Star Wars, and Star Wars itself remains so popular, because advanced science fills an exploration into mythology or divine influence. Humans involve with technology throughout history. Sci-fi movies provide escapism for what we might call relatable themes found in literature. They can focus on love, climate change, impending doom, and friendship, good and evil, and robotic relationships with humanity. It becomes appealing to people because these films encompass a space wherein their scientific aspects are derivatives of philosophical and emotional concepts. Star Wars allows admiration for its characters, which extinguish an increasingly diverse audience, one that frequently cares about its film whole heartedly, as long
Imagine a world that adds to our existence and shows bravery and creativity. We can be friends and enjoy our lives, with the brilliance that there's an adventure for everyone. Harry Potter has an array of amounts of friendship and shows interaction in a non-violent way, as opposed to Star Wars. But when it is, it's the most "ridikulus" way imaginable.
George Lucas wrote and directed Star Wars, he had tons of creative and production control just like Hitchcock. Furthermore, the film demonstrates his aesthetic vision through recurring themes of good verse evil, heroes fighting for good and saving the day. Lastly, the film demonstrates thematic and stylistic consistencies to create the meaningful narrative. One thing that stands out from Star Wars that illustrates George Lucas’ control over the production is the credits. He did not want the credits at the beginning of the film so the audience can focus on the narrative. In the late 1950’s the auteur theory was introduced to filmmaking which created a new way of making films. Auteur theory went against the classical narrative by focusing on realism. Auteur films had ambiguous endings, which deeper into the character’s physiological state. Even though, Star Wars demonstrates certain auteur elements, it does not go against the classical narrative. To conclude, Star Wars mixed classical Hollywood techniques with the auteur theory that lead to a different and unique way of making a
In 1977, After Cameron watched the classic science-fiction movie Star Wars directed by George Lucas, he began to realize what he wants to do.
