Should the Minimum Driving Age be Raised Up?

I think the driving age should still be 16, but a lot of people disagree and think that it should be 18. I Think the average person should be able to drive at the age of 16, because that way, they can take themselves to destinations without having to ask their parents. They are also able to get jobs and earn money to get gasoline.

Although there are a lot of advantages in driving at the age of 16, there are some disadvantages. A lot of deaths have been recorded and the leading cause of death for teenagers under 18 years old was car accidents.
