Custom Ink is using the brand extension in regards to Booster, which will allow Booster to benefit from Custom Ink's good reputation and Brand awareness. Custom Ink is also a very successful and profitable organization with good leadership which will only further benefit the development of Booster. Booster should position themselves as the leading fundraising site that offers goods to those who wish to contribute and offer support. Customer awareness should be the central strategy for positioning. When organizers think about putting a campaign together with the first company they think of should be Booster. This can be achieved by partnering with larger organizations and really making a push to raise brand awareness and becoming the leader in the fundraising field. A secondary positioning strategy should be customer support. It should be easy for the organizers to use and offer quick resolutions if/when a problem arises. It can be the best product in the world, but if it's too complicated or the company has a reputation as hard to work with it will hurt the overall positioning strategy.
