Recommended: Introduction to Personality

Throughout this coarse, I was able to expand my knowledge upon figuring out who I am and how I want to live my life. This opened up eyes to a completely different perspective of myself and made me aware of why I posses certain characteristics and traits. The question of “who a I” cannot be simply answered in a straightforward definition, but this coarse was able to provide me with tools and information that has helped me begin to discover my true self. My temperament, personality and life experiences have shaped me in numerous ways and will continue to shape me in the future as I grow and evolve. Although we are forever impermanent, because there is a part of us that is forever changing throughout the years, we all have a basic perception of who we …show more content…

This coarse has also helped me see myself clearly and has given me the ability to clearly recognize the characteristics I obtain and why some people don’t share the same traits as me. I can now allow myself to stop expecting to become someone I’m not and am able to accept others for who they are and I can stop expecting them to share the same characteristics as me. Finding my personality through the Enneagram has allowed me to encountered information that has made me reflect upon my personality and has helped me find a deeper meaning of self awareness. This has allowed me to be able to fully appreciate my gifts and challenges, which will lead to me having a deeper satisfaction in life. After reading all of the nine personality types of the Enneagram, I was able to quickly realize that the type two personality fit me the best. When I continued to expand my knowledge over my Enneagram type two, it helped me realize that I possess certain traits that I didn’t realize I obtained before, along with giving me a different perspective on my personality traits.
