WARMUP: After noticing how important my warm-up routine was in my first fitness contract, I continued to implement a similar warm-up routine during these past three weeks. Thus, before starting any of the more intense workouts, I did a few body stretches and light walking/jogging for about 15 minutes prior my workout routine. I also learned to drink water right after my warm-up routine which caused me to feel much more resistant during my workouts. My warm-up routines really helped me to psychologically and physically prepare myself for my workout routine of the day. I did a lot of research on healthy eating habits and realized that maintaining a healthy diet can be expensive. Nevertheless, I tried to eat more fruits and vegetables. Also, I put a lot of emphasis into staying hydrated so I carried a water bottle whenever I left the house. Additionally, I usually tend to go out to eat at fast food places or normal restaurants, so I stopped myself from eating outside and eating more home made meals instead. WEIGHT: At first, my goal was to maintain my body weight but as I started working out more, I saw myself losing weight. I lost about 9 pounds in the past three weeks, which made me realized that I was not consuming enough calories to burn during my workouts. Now, I feel that I need to gain a lot more weight so that I can be able to grow more muscle. For example, my body fat has decreased and I have gained more muscular strength in my upper arms. My muscular endurance has continued to improve as the number of pushups, sit-ups, dips, and pull-ups has increased. Not only have they increased, but also, they’re much easier to do. Since I have been running a lot, my step test score has improved as the recovery heart rate was much lower and I didn’t feel as exhausted as I did in the past tests. I still struggle a bit during the flexibility tests, so I definitely plan to put more emphasis on my flexibility in future workout
