Race, gender, and class all play a big role in society. Many people are defined by the status that they were given at birth. So many get discriminated against or stereotyped for what they look like or what they buy. How does your race, gender, or class define you? What does race, gender, or class mean in society today? Having so many words to define a person can leave a lasting impression on that person, making them think that they are worthless because of who they are.

Race is a commonly used term that can describe a person, but often with this description comes a negative effect. Race can be used to define oneself, often used when a person is asked who they are. So many people can take pride in their race, for they feel it can define their heritage or where they come from. When used by a racist person, though, the word can be so negative that a person can be left feeling as if they are an insignificant, good-for-nothing person. Without gender and the gender affiliated pronouns, a person might feel completely lost in who they are. Many cisgender men and women define themselves with that of their gender. Gender roles often play a big part in the lives of those who are cisgender. When used appropriately, a person feels power is given to them because of their gender, but when used incorrectly, a person can be degraded. While gender can be so empowering, it can have so many negative effects. Men often have more power than women, and this can leave so many problems for people to deal with. Feminists fight for equality for women, but with so many men in power, the men are the ones that get to decide whether it is legal for a woman to do so or
