“I don’t go from the rules of the book… I lead from the heart not the head.” That was one of Princess Diana’s most famous quote. Diana Frances Spencer also known as Princess Diana or Lady Diana was the Princess of Wales. In Diana’s time she was the most famous European and an American Icon. She was truly a noble person. The life of Princess Diana was glorious. Born on July 1, 1961, Princess Diana had a normal childhood just like every kid in the United Kingdom. In 1969 her parents divorce left her growing up with four siblings and her father. One of her siblings, Lady Sarah Mccorquodale, said, “ Diana always had a can do attitude when going through the bad times”. Things changed though in 1975 when Diana’s father, John Spencer, became the eighth Earl Spencer and inherit the new title. When Diana was 29 she met Prince Charles and four years later they got married. They had two kids, Prince William and Prince Harry. On august 29, 1966 Princess Diana and Prince Charles divorce became official and shocked the world. A year after the divorce Diana went to a fundraiser in Paris and trying to escape from the paparazzi a drunk driver hits her and her bodyguard. Diana became the “People’s Princess” due to her warmth and tireless work. She represents the International Red Cross and is praised for her support for battered women and the homeless. Not only was she giving to others she also was a fashion icon. She would outshine her husband at many gatherings and formal events. Women around the world would mimic her hair, clothes, jewels.
