The name of the play i saw was called “Cabaret”. It took place at the Festival Theatre (Shaw Festival) which is located at 10 Queen’s Parade, Niagara-on-the-Lake and was presented by the “Tams Witmark Music Library” which is in New York, New York. When American Journalist Cliff Bradshaw arrives in Berlin, he meets a nightclub singer named Sally Bowles at the Kit Kat Club, who he later falls in love with when she becomes pregnant. Desperate for money, he takes up his German friend named Ernst’s offer, who had offered him an easy way to make a good amount of cash. Little did he know by completing these tasks he was actually helping out the up and rising Nazi Party led by a Fascist dictator named Hitler. Another couple – Fraulein Schneider, Cliff’s landlady, and Herr Schultz, a Jewish grocer – must face the music, when the discrimination for Jews uprises, and she has to pick if she actually loves him enough to potentially endanger herself in the future.
