Many teenagers experience cyberbullying, whether they are the bullies themselves or the victims. To start off, cyberbullying is basically bullying through the internet using electronics such as phones, laptops, etc. Teenagers should stop cyberbullying because it is useless and only spreads negativity. We all want to live safely and in peace. Parents should be really careful with their children because the people surrounding them could really mess up their minds and lead them down the wrong path. This whole issue is really important to me because I have experienced cyberbullying somehow, and all I felt was that all doors were shut in front of my face, and there was no way out. People should really think about this issue even though it's not something new, yet it still affects many teenagers. Teenagers are in the process of growing, so they go through different experiences. They may overthink and stay up all night sometimes. However, staying up all night can make them bored, so they may want to entertain themselves. They have a lot of free time, so they may want to try something new, such as hacking into people's accounts to see their private pictures and read their private chats. To be on the safe side, some parents do not allow their children to have social media accounts like Instagram or Snapchat. They want their children not to waste time on trivial things and concentrate on studying because social media can lead to nowhere. Some other teenagers hack accounts not because they are bored, but because they want attention. They would do anything to be popular. On the other hand, the people who are affected may overthink and might get depressed, feeling like every opened door is shut and there is no way out.

There has been controversy as to whether parents should limit the use of social media by teenagers. Teenagers feel that there is no need to limit the use of their social media networking, but on the other hand, parents should feel the need to limit their use and also keep track of their teen’s social networking.
