Students today are stressed, tired, and overworked. There are only so many hours in a day to fit everything a student must do. They’re getting up at 5 in the morning to get ready for the rest of their day. Going to school by 7 am and in class by 7:30 am. On the weekends sleeping until 12 am just to catch up on sleep. Many- if not most- have sports, clubs, family, homework, and chores. This is where exhaustion and stress come in. Students go to school 7-2:30, go home and do chores from 3-4 and homework from 5-6 and sports from 6-8 and even clubs. Their entire day is gone. Not mentioning the time it takes to talk with family, friends and the general things humans have the right of passage to do. And yes, talking to friends and family is a necessity. Starting school later sounds relatively simple, so what are the possible roadblocks? For one, parents …show more content…

Hypothetically speaking, the bus schedule would be pushed with the school hours. But suppose it wouldn’t, or your school completely rids of buses, it could be hard for working parents to transport their kid to and from school. Teachers would also complain-but when don’t they- that a later day pokes at their schedule too much.. Jokes aside, a later school starting could seriously mess with a teacher’s schedule. Some will have to stay later resulting in less time with their families. Although in most cases, teachers rarely find this to be true. The community would also feel a chain reaction of changes. Such as libraries, police, youth sports club, and businesses to name a few. A later end time could present problems with the hours of establishments and the business they receive. Again, it really wouldn’t affect anything greatly. Ending school an hour or two later would likely not be as dramatic of a change as
