The World’s climate has been changing for millions and millions of years. The world has been progressively becoming warmer over the years. Climate change is coming closer then what most scientist expect. In fact, it might have already arrived. Now, climate change is causing people all over the world to suffer. People all around the world are already feeling the effects of climate change. They are already seeing the damage that climate change is creating. Climate change is not just a current issue or a global issue. It is human right issue. Climate change is currently and will be the most important human right issue because human activity is the pure reason it is occurring, it is also affecting how humans will live now and in the future and …show more content…

The world has been changing because of human activity. According to The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), human activity is the likely reason why climate change is occurring. Some examples of human activity are vegetation, deforestation, and agriculture. Vegetation can contribute to climate change because of photosynthesis. During photosynthesis water vapor is released to the atmosphere altering the amount of energy that is released and an increase in water vapor increases the chances of cloud development. Deforestation is when people remove forests or an area of with a lot of trees. When deforestation occurs carbon is released to the air “Deforestation accounts for around 18% of all global greenhouse gas emissions due to human activities” (Council). This means that deforestation is a clear reason why human activity is changing the world’s climate into what it is now. Agriculture is the practice of farming, breeding of animals and plants. Agriculture impacts the climate by “...contributing approximately 7 percent of total U.S. GHG emissions, with nitrous oxide (N2O) accounting for 66 percent and methane (CH4) 34 percent of agricultural emissions.” (“Agriculture’s Role”). This shows that agriculture is contributing to the United States total greenhouse gases emissions which also, affects the world’s …show more content…

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and The World Health Organization (WHO) worked with policymaker in developing countries to go over the challenges of bad air quality and how to overcome them. While talking to policymakers in developing countries, UNEP and WHO came to a conclusion that a decline in air quality will decrease the amount of physical activity in the country. Some health problems that will occur with a lack of physical activity consist of heart disease and high blood pressure. According to WHO the air pollution has gotten so bad that “...one in eight total global deaths is associated with air pollution, with strokes and heart disease being the leading cause.” (“Reframing Climate Change” 1). This proves that air pollution is giving people health problems around the world and killing some. Climate change is causing the spread of diseases such as malaria because since the climate is changing it is altering the habitats of insect population. Also, China is facing a problem with premature deaths and disease since the climate is getting warmer. Citizens believe that as the climate get warmer the amount of disease and premature deaths will increase as
