I am the type of person who likes to get involved within my community. I engaged myself into this particular program where we mentor young woman and sometimes young men on empowering their youth on making change in their community for the better. Twice out the year we go out and feed the homeless and spread wisdom among them. Every day I would give a homeless person money or change I may have. I came across the gentlemen one day, who told me how I would give him money and a reason to live. He also told me how I would tell him to keep his head up, things will get better. Homelessness does not necessarily mean sleeping outdoors; it can also mean staying in motels, transitional housing, shelters and other temporary accommodations. This rises from personal vulnerabilities including mental or physical disabilities, chronic health issues, addictions and lack of education. It turns out that the obvious solution is simply giving people homes, both in terms of addressing the problem and reducing expenditures. It makes sense from both a financial and humanitarian standpoint. It’s true that many homeless people have made mistakes that have contributed to their homelessness. But they are in the minority. I am also very outgoing; a strength that is important when you work with clients and colleagues. The demand for accountants is growing tremendously. Overall I want to get a degree in Accounting because this will be the last time I can be academically and intellectually challenged. Where I can learn more about Accounting and all the things I wanted to learn about in school. I plan on also taking the test to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). With becoming a CPA you get the benefit of traveling a lot, which I would like to do when I graduate college.
Becoming an Accountant is not the only thing I would like to become. I would also like to have a degree in Physical Therapy. The part of physical therapy I would like to work with is working with athletes. I think working with athletes is better because it would bring in more money and I am also an athlete myself. Athletes will always be around and everyone of them will need a physical therapist sometime in their sports
