a bath. Then we watched a little more tv together and then my sister and me started packing a bag full of stuff we can do in the car on the way to Texas. When we finished we went to bed and it is like 9:00 at night. In the morning at 4:30 we woke up and we brush our teeth and got into some comfy close if we wanted to or we can stay in pajamas and my sister and me stayed in our pajamas and our dad and mom got into comfy clothes and we packed are car and got blankets and pillows and we got into the car and we left and it was about 5:00.

I colored for a little bit and my sister did to. When I got bored of coloring we had like 3 hours and 37 minutes left. my Sister and me decided to play I spy so we played that for a little bit. When we got there it was 12:30 and my sister and me are very hungry and so are my parents. I prepared a big feast for our family and our new guest. After we ate I sent Motus to his room to read a script so International and I could talk.
We left our house at two in the morning because if we left at that time, we would be able to make it to Florida around eleven. I didn’t mind waking up that early, my sister on the other hand didn’t like the idea since she likes to sleep in. So she wasn’t in the best mood when we went to the airport. When we got to the airport, we met with my grandparents, uncle, and cousin. We got checked in and had wait until our flight.
The four of us headed down for breakfast. I believe we were one of the first ones there but, I’m not quite sure. I got this chocolate cereal and it was one of the best cereals I 've ever had. Apparently no one else liked the cereal but I would love to have it again. I don 't quite remember what we did during the day, but I remember going to the beach and the tide was so far out. It took about five to ten minutes to actually reach the ocean. We took pictures and played a little bit in the ocean. We also went to an art gallery that was right outside our hotel window. The lady was really nice and let us walk around her studio and she was really talented. She probably had at least fifty pieces of art and they were stunning. The pieces were beautiful, colorful and really detailed. Later on in the day, we had free time so we decided to go to the M&S, which is a grocery store. Before this, we walked around the fortress and it was so fun and it was really cool to see it. We learned that back in the day, they use to let dogs out at night after curfew to make sure no one was causing trouble. The interesting thing about this store was that it was underground so we had to go downstairs to get to it. I picked up some chips and something to drink and everyone else go the same thing. The funny thing is, when we were leaving and we were going up the stairs, I tripped and fell and it was so funny. After that we dropped off
What did I do? How did this even happen? It was early Saturday, 8:00am. I was sleeping soundly, in my room. There was nothing that could ruin my sleep, except maybe my parents.
The first nothing happened all we did was sleep because South Dakota is a hour behind Iowa so we slept in all day. The second day we finally went to Mount Rushmore and he went in the afternoon my mom took like a million picture of everything. We took about 8 hours there. When we came back the night we only had three hours there cause we took the bus there. We spent three hours inside because it was mosquito paradise. So we only watched the light up and took a ton of pictures. The last day we spent all day packing up. It still was another 8 - 10 hour drive back to Iowa I fell asleep for 4 hours. When we finally made it to Iowa it was 10:30 PM. I fell asleep right after we made it back to Iowa. So it wasn’t that bad. The trip to South Dakota it was the best thing of my summer.
My dad, sister, and I said goodbye to my mom and went our separate ways. My dad had to drive us to Las Vegas airport, where we had to take a plane to Los Angeles. The moment I stepped on the ferry was like no other. The feeling of the moisture from Lake Superior on my skin was breathtaking. I have passed Mackinac city a million times but never experienced the heart-stopping beauty of Lake Superior and Mackinac Island. When I arrived to the island there were thousands of people all around me. I have never been accustomed to how many people were around, and on such a small island. Living in Michigan for almost half my life and moving away from this experience was something I thought would never happen. I really took living there for granted. I had never realized all of the things I never did until after moving and coming back to Michigan to discover more. I moved to Wyoming the beginning of summer 2010.
