Essay By: Kerolos Yaacoub. Period 1, Mr. Walker, Language Arts One day, on a normal school day, I did something incredibly reckless. I got away with it, but if I were to do it again, I don’t know if I would have gotten the same outcome. My and my friends were incredibly lucky we weren’t caught, but the reward was exceptional. It was a Wednesday morning. I was in third period, waiting for the bell to ring to dismiss us for lunch. Once the bell had rang, I left class and I went down the west hallway to meet my friend who was waiting for me, like normally. We talked and once the ball had rang, meaning that lunch had begun, we went to the cafeteria to go pick out food. It turned out they were serving meatballs in a bun, which was the absolute worst! Me and my friends all were instantly gloomed out, and dread had overcame us once we saw the sign announcing that meatballs was being served in lunch today. …show more content…

Now, lunch was usually approximately 45 minutes long. My friends had all thought of an idea all of a sudden; let’s go off campus to get something to eat. Now, everyone knew that this was highly frowned upon, and there were many police usually patrolling the city during lunch time, but our hunger got to the best of us. I personally fell for it too because the more I looked at those meatballs, the more I got dizzy and nauseated.
