People say boredom is caused when someone is left with nothing to do. I strong disagree. Boredom is something much more primitive that just lacking things to do. How times have we had an important task, but could never complete it because we felt bored right in the middle of doing it? Boredom can strike anybody, and there are no explainable causes for it; you just feel bored.
But with conscious effort from your side, you can ensure that boredom is far away. This blog teaches you how to overcome boredom.
Analyze What You Want To Do
When you feel bored, just ask yourself-"what do I really want to do now?" Finding the answer to this question is the key to overcoming boredom. Be honest and try to come out with answers that can improve your productivity. …show more content…

You need to admit that you do not have a choice but to complete the task at hand, if you want to achieve the goals you have set for yourself. Turn your work into a game. Try to set a time limit and see if you can race to finish the task before time. Treat yourself with something if you accomplish the mission. You will never feel bored again.
Kill Procrastination
If you really want to know how to overcome boredom, then you need to be ready to 'not procrastinate'. Be it a simple house chore or complicated calculus homework or an important presentation at the office, do it now. Postponing it for later is not only going to leave you with less time to complete, but you will not enjoy anything you do with the assignment bugging you at the back of your head. It is a complete lose-lose situation.
Do New Stuff
If you have lots of time to spare and you are clueless on how to overcome boredom, my best suggestion would be try something new. Learn a new language, read a book, join your local trekking-club and go on an adventure, play a sport, learn an instrument. There are a million things you have not tried, and there is no better time for you to start doing it than, right
