She has risen to the top and is the highest paid R&B artist in this era. She stepped up her sex appeal all while still maintaining class about her-self. In 2013, the world witnessed another side of Beyonce. Unlike anyone else, she was able to drop an album without any promotion and it quickly became number one. In the time of that album Beyonce embraced her sexuality like never before. She expressed her-self and experimented with her lyrics explicitly as well. An evolution among women is often questionable. Women evolve simply because technology has altered the way people view the music industry and communicate. If artists, especially women, don’t evolve and adapt to the changing needs of their audience, they will no longer be relevant.
