Everyone develops habits over their lifetime either it is good or bad. When I was baby I develop one of the worst habits that pretty much damaged my body if I did not make major changes. My bad habit was thrusting my tongue against my lips. It did not only affect my teeth and how my lips were suppose to form, it also effected my speech. My tongue made my words that came out my mouth slurred. The worse thing is that I did not even knew it. A drastic change was going to be changed as soon as I entered sixth grade. I have gotten braces. I was not happy at all. When I heard I was getting braces, I mostly wanted Invisline. Orthodontist said, that will not fix my problem since, I have a huge gap between my teeth. Since, I was in middle school it would be the perfect time to get braces. It was not only popular at that time, people who did not even need braces would want braces because everyone else was getting braces. I was upset I was getting braces, people told me how bad the pain is, how they barely eat anything, their teeth got worse, had to get braces put back on, also how their lips got caught up in their braces. It felt weird having metal in my mouth. My teeth were no longer smooth. As soon as I got home I ate like I never ate before I ate real good that night. In my mind I was thinking no one knew what they were talking about braces,do not hurt at all. Till I thought, as a soon as went to bed I felt like my teeth got knocked out with a baseball bat, then drilled back in and got knocked out with a bus. It was major pain, I ran to the car so fast to get the wax to relieve all that horrible pain I was feeling. The orthodontist was right I would thank her for that wax. For the next two weeks I ate nothing but smoothies, my teeth were so sore. I cried myself to sleep every
