Making a heart on your nails is simple if you know the trick. You can make one heart on an accent finger or place hearts all over your nails. First, you'll need a toothpick and your favorite top coat. Dip the end of the toothpick into the polish. Place two dots next to each other for the top of the heart. Drag each dot down to a point between them so they meet at the bottom. It's that easy to make a simple heart with nail polish.

For this nail polish design, you'll need a few supplies. You'll need more than one color of polish, a nail polish thinner and a splatter brush. Apply the base coat. A tattoo is a mark, on a person, with an unforgotten design by inserting pigments into punctures in the skin. Many people get tattoos because they enjoy designs that mean something to them, but don’t know what type of chemicals or products they put in their skin. First, fill your clear jar with water, preferably cool. Use your small bowl and add oil. Next, add your four colors to your bowl of oil. Mix thoroughly with your fork. The liquids need to make a deep red color, or close to red. Make the colors and oil are settled. Once everything is mixed, carefully pour the contents of the bowl into the jar of water. It make take a few seconds, but the colored oil with float to the top. Give it a little more time; this shouldn’t take a while. If you pay attention, the oil will start to slowly drip from the rim to the bottom of the jar, just like blood.
Since glitter is so hard to remove, I started with two coats of a glue-based base coat. After that dried, I painted two coats of Cover Girl's Lav-endure polish. I was disappointed with the consistency of this polish which was streaky and thin. After two coats, there were splotchy streaks that showed some of the nail underneath. I would have needed three or four coats for a perfectly opaque manicure.
