Autobiography
The reason why I decided to attend FIDM, was because I started working at my mother’s boutique at 15 years old, always loved to style people’s outfits, and as soon as I visited FIDM i knew it was the perfect fit for me. All these different things inspired me so much in a way that I finally found my career and how I want to be successful. The main reason how I actually got into fashion and decided that I wanted to be in that industry was from the boutique I worked at for a long time. It gave me a lot of experience which I needed in order to open up my own store. I am so excited to see what FIDM has for me in the future. When I was 15 years old, I worked in my mom’s clothing boutique and really had a fun experience working there. My job was to help customers out with fitting rooms, helping customers pick out clothes, and working the cashier. It was so good to be able to get that type of experience so young because I kind of got a taste of what the whole fashion world looked like. One thing that was awesome about working there was that i got to learn how to deal with customers even though it was tough sometimes. I worked at the boutique for 5 years and it really made me love retail and made me want to get into that type of …show more content…

This school offers so much and I am so happy to be known as a student there. My major is Visual Communications which is awesome because you learn a little bit of everything which is what I wanted. Going to FIDM is going to be such a great journey and good for my career. As soon as I visited the school I got such a good vibe from it and everyone seemed to be so helpful. Visual Communications is everything I wanted all in one which will help me decide exactly what I want to do with my future. The main thing that i’m mos excited for is seeing what FIDM will do for me and my career and getting to learn all my favorite things.
