My Civic Responsibility

In the present time people are becoming more and more expose to technology which made media more exposed to the public. Information has become more accessible and available publicly by more and more people. Some nation used media and information for the formation of their countries’ nation building. But only a few of the people are well verse in dealing with media and information. Being a student my role and my civic responsibility is to take part on helping my community to be well educated with the use of media and information.

It would let them critique media in a way a media literate would deal media. Introducing to the people the other forms of media like print media would interest them to not just take media as something that is being broadcast in televisions and internet. This would taught them and give them the idea that they can make media. If you have noticed them that they are starting to have interest in making media you can help them rather guide them in making their own media. Teaching them what you have learned as a student on how to make media would give a great impact on how they will do their media.

Introducing to them what is the does and don’t in making media would not just help our nation but also it would help a little bit to the world. In this way it will pave them away from giving out wrong media and information. Telling them how to let their media be credible, you will also be teaching them how to be information literate. Using what you have learned in school how to be information literate. Information from their media that they will produce will be credible and trusted.
