As a tragic, wonderful book whose lighthearted, apathetic hero shames us all The Bone Sparrow gives an ideological assumption of Zana Fraillon. She had won many award for her books, but The Bone Sparrow had won the most. She won the Book of the Year for Older Children, the Readings Young Adult Book Prize and the Amnesty CILIP Honour. These awards had made her an international author and made successful in many things in life. The Bone Sparrow is just one of the few books that has made her a notable author and has helped her achieve a goal of reaching out to young adults. The Bone Sparrow additionally was the project of her social works because Fraillon has a passion to set refugees free and the book takes this into account. Her personal life is like that of every others, she has kids a husband and a two dogs. Zana lives a very cumbersome lifestyle and tries to keep everything mellow. She taught english in China for a couple of years and continues to inspire young children with her knowledge of the language. She now has a calm life and doesn’t stress about much, but she is very active in the notice of refugees in australia. She strives for a better life for these people and wrote The Bone Sparrow to get the message out there. The book conveys a realistic message by stating what these people go through on a regular basis. The book provides a different point of view unlike any other book and shows how much Fraillon cares about this
