Psychologist has claimed that positive experience, positive individual traits, and positive institutions improve the quality of daily life. In Seligman and Csikszentmihalyi (2000) article setting the stage for a change in focus for psychological research. In their view, addition of the positive knowledge promotes the happiness level of people. The article focuses what really enables the happiness level in human beings, fulfillment of needs, wellbeing, interaction with friends etc. They both talked about the necessity of positive psychology to make life happy. Their result articulates that each individual, communities, and societies become happy by experiencing positive things.
Positive psychology has been inspiration for other psychologist in further research on the important of happiness in people lives. Myers (2000) examined happiness in relation to gender, age, income, jobs, and religious faith.
