A leader is someone who will walk before you and guide you through the rough times, and walk beside you in revelry through the good times. A leader will try their best to take you to the final goal, and not let anyone be left behind. They are not afraid to speak their mind, and are unafraid to take risks to achieve their intentions. A good leader understands their own skill set and drives to become more proficient in their chosen fields and skills. Leaders take charge in situations and lead others to the end.

When you always know what is going on around, you have good situational awareness. Situational awareness is being alert and aware of the status of your surroundings and the objects within it. In many situations, you need to know about any and all factors that would affect your decisions and actions. People in the military need to have strong situational awareness, knowing what is in front and behind them, who is with them, and what they are going into to better prepare themselves for it. Someone with a good sense of direction always is aware of the final goal, and the steps that they have to take in order to get there. They always know what direction they want to take in an endeavour, and have a clear idea of what they want to accomplish with their lives. Bill Gates has a good sense of direction, because he knew that college was not the way to achieve what he wanted. He has continued with his project, even when people may doubt him, and now it worth around $80 billion. He has continued on with his ideas even though the path might have seemed unclear to others, he knew what he wanted to do.
