Needless to say, the whole world knows that Miley Cyrus’s Disney days are gone, the one of the utmost conversed about person of 2013 startled the world with her Wrecking Ball video, foam finger, twerking and wacky dancing. In 2013, Miley Cyrus stated, “I feel like I'm one of the biggest feminists” in an interview with BBC. This statement “set off a firestorm of online commentary, from the Huffington Post to the U.K.'s Guardian newspaper.” Not only this, but after Cyrus' performance with Robin Thicke at the 2013 VMAs, where she was ‘twerking’ in a faux nude outfit, people began to interrogate her being a feminist.
