When it comes to advertisement, every company’s goal is to come up with the best way to get their product out there and make their product look better than their competitors. Now, there are different ways in which companies can advertise their product. Cortana ad, or by trying to sell products by using their name, Microsoft decided to focus on showing what their technology has been able to do. For Example, because of Microsoft’s technology a little boy is able to run because he was able to get prosthetic legs. A view of former NFL player, Steve Gleason, whose life has changed not only because he suffers from ALS – which is "Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, often referred to as "Lou Gehrig 's Disease", a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord…" (The ALS Association), but also because with Microsoft 's eye-tracking technology it has "given a voice to the voiceless…” It makes the audience feel happy because they can see him communicate despite losing the ability to talk as a result of ALS. The narration of Steve Gleason draws the audience in from the very beginning and possibly eliminates any negative thought about technology the viewer might have. So, in addition to seeing how the eye-tracking technology has affected Steve Gleason’s life by giving “… a voice to the voiceless…” the audience is then able to see other people and how Microsoft’s technology has positively affected their life.
