Michelle Obama is a very successful person that has done many things for our country that you probably never even realized. Read more to find out more about Michelle Obama. Michelle Obama was born on January 17, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois. Michelle was the first African American First Lady can trace her ancestry through five generations of history, from slavery to the White House. Michelle’s challenges shaped her into who she is today which makes her a very successful person.

Michelles approach to dealing with the rude comments and racism has been "when they go low, I go high," she doesn't want to pretend she can just brush off these comments, she said. By overcoming the racism and rude comments it has made Michelle a more successful person. Here are some examples. Michelle attended Whitney M. Young Magnet High School, the city's first magnet high school for gifted children, were among other activities, she served as the student government treasurer. By Michelle doing this it made us healthier, more active and also decreased America’s obesity. Hopefully Michelle’s influence carries on for future generations because we do not want to all be unhealthy and obese if there is something we can do about it.
If Michelle Obama never existed we probably would’ve never realized how unhealthy we were. Nor would we ever have realized how common obesity was becoming in America. If it wasn't for her America would not know how to eat healthy or how to exercise.
