“One man’s magic is another man’s engineering”. This quote by “Robert A. Heinlein” fuelled in me a desire to be an engineer since my early childhood days. Born in a family of mechanical engineers, I always had a predilection towards mechanical engineering. My goal is to design the futuristic self driven and hybrid cars in a way that augments their celerity and enhances user experience manifolds. My past endeavors, my education and trainings give me a good head-start and the requisite background for pursuing a Master’s program in Mechanical Engineering.
My first major step towards my goal was getting through the most competitive engineering entrance exam the All India Engineering Entrance Examination. Having cleared it successfully paved the way for me into one of the most coveted Universities of India, Amity University. I started my journey of Mechanical Engineering with alacrity. The most striking incident of my freshman year was attending a technical workshop on Autocad, delivered by Appin Technology Labs. The workshop was not only an enthralling experience for me personally but sharpened my technical skills too. It enhanced my knowledge about design and at the same time widened my idea of how a good design can enhance the agility and strength of a mechanical body. …show more content…

Further during the course of my masters I want to concentrate on design of automobiles and thereafter work in one of the leading MNCs such as General Motors. As a part of my research, I wish to make the Regenerative Braking System more efficient. I duly believe that if the design of vehicles is more compact, then the impact needed to stop a car on application of brakes would reduce and car battery can be recharged much faster. Energy constraints in any part of the world if mitigated make a huge impact on its
