This man was born in Miami, Florida in 1971 and son of Cuban immigrants. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and went on to earn his law degree from the University of Miami. That man is Marco Rubio. To me Marco Rubio isn’t just a politician, he’s an inspiration to many Hispanic immigrants who want to be successful in the United States. Marco Rubio is a great example of the American Dream. His parents moved here from Cuba for a better life, but not for them, but for Marco. His father was a bartender and his mother did a number of service industry and retail jobs. His political career initially began in 1998 when he won West Miami City Commission. Opportunities arose and Marco took ahold of them. He had made his mark in state politics and went on to win his bid for the Florida House of Representatives in 1999. In 2003, Marco had become majority leader and speaker of the house which made him a dominating political force. As speaker, Rubio created an ambitious campaign to generate ways to improve and reform the state government. Rubio had a proposal called “100 Innovative Ideas for Florida’s Future,” in which half of these ideas became laws. Rubio wasn’t all talk , this man was strictly business. Rubio continued to climb the ladder by surprisingly winning Florida Senator in 2009. Rubio was viewed as an underdog, but the well-spoken young politician made sure the people were aware of his opponents ties with Barrack Obama. He knew we needed change and he wasn’t settling for anything less than a win. Rubio shows great leadership and continues to show political domination in the state of Florida. I believe that the American Dream nowadays, is just a short, redefined version of living a middle class lifestyle. But, for others, the dream might simply mean escaping poverty and giving their children a better life. The American Dream, however, is in my opinion not only applicable to natural born citizens but to legal and illegal immigrants as well. I’m swayed to think this way because my parents are living their own, redefined version of the American Dream. They came to America to escape the poverty that Mexico had to offer, they were in need of food, money, a home and a better life for my sister who was only one at the time.
The American Dream has become a motive for success for both Americans and immigrants. The dream is what draws foreigners to America and what keeps Americans living in America. For some, it means living in a land of opportunities, owning a house with a family, having a stable job, or becoming rich. The American Dream has been, and continues to be a foundation built of both ideals and hopes of Americans and immigrants. The American Dream can be defined by breaking the ideal of class distinction. The ability to go beyond what is expected of your class level, means achieving the American Dream. When Mexican immigrants first arrive in America, they belong to the lower class, only because of their rough start in Mexico. Although they have started out rough, the families from Mexico are on their way to achieve their American Dream. They are on the path to breaking free of the lower class and becoming part of middle-class. Their possibility of an increase quality of life is higher than in Mexico. The drive for an enhanced life is a main part in the drive for the American Dream.

Senate races within years of Presidential elections are always important as they help shift power within the nation. What is most interesting about the race is what the winner did and who the winner is. Marco Rubio rejoining the race for Senate after dropping out of the Presidential race was definitely a shake up. As the Democrats poured support into their bids for Senate, primary behind Patrick Murphy, to ensure the Democratic victory. The American dream is common to all people, but it is viewed in various ways. The American dream is different for everyone, but they share some of the same aspects of it. The reality of the American dream is the essence of most immigrants. But the American dream can be achieved by Americans if they secure a good job and make a supportive salary. The American dream can be achieved by any race that wants to achieve it. According to Henry Ford “if you think you can or can’t you’re right.” If people think they can achieve the American dream they can, or if people think they can’t then they won’t.
On December 24, 1946 Jeff Sessions was born in Selma, Alabama. Throughout Sessions life he was an attorney for Alabama for 20 years. Sessions first big break outside of Alabama is the nomination for district court from President Ronald Reagan.This nomination was rejected because of allegations that Sessions had praised the KKK and he said criticized the ACLU and the NAACP. Eventually Sessions got his seat in the Senate in 1996, he then went on to win three more terms. Sessions was also the first Senator to support Donald Trump in running for president. When he was younger he would sell sets of garbage bags to make money to buy the pair of shoes he liked, he would do anything in school to make a dollar. He became the stamp and coin salesman of the school. His go getter attitude extended in the classroom as well.

His father, Ángel Castro y Argiz, was originally an immigrant from Spain. During Fidel’s childhood, Ángel was a fairly prosperous sugarcane farmer on a farm that had been dominated by United States owned United Fruit Company. His mother, Lina Ruz Gonzalez, was a maid to Angel's first wife, during Fidel’s infancy. By the time Fidel was fifteen, his father disbanded his first marriage and wed Lina, who is seen by Fidel to be his true mother. Fidel was educated in private Jesuit boarding schools. By 1945, he entered the law school at the University of Havana. Here, Fidel began his radical actions and became more interested in politics, namely, the politics of Cuba. In 1950, Castro graduated from Havana Law School and began practicing law through small local governments, advancing in political importance and knowledge.
The person I know who implements two or more components of the American Dream is Tyler Perry. Tyler Perry lives the American Dream from certain beliefs. Beliefs that everyone can participate equally and can always start over. Also, the belief that success is the result of individual traits and actions that is under one’s control. Finally, Tyler Perry can be used as an example through different components of the social class.

Fidel was always top of his class, he exceeded in every subject getting him into a good colleges. Fidel was also a athlete and just like his studies he was an expert at athletics. Fidel attended Colegio Dolores in Santiago de Cuba, he also attended Colegio de Belen in Havana. Fidel pitched for the school's baseball team, he also played basketball and ran track. Fidel graduated in 1945 , however Castro decided to join law school in the University of Havana. Castro was getting really interested by the politics and problems in Cuba, that lead to him not focusing on his studies.
