Macy’s is a large, diverse retail corporation. Diversity is one of the business cores of the company; their diversity strategy is based on their international and multicultural advertising and marketing. I choose this organization because their business core values are based on diversity and inclusion. This particular company values diversity and inclusion at the same time. Having a diverse corporate culture is part of being a successful and well-known business around the world. The company is also known for its commitment and demonstrations of a diverse culture. They have a very large and diverse customers and suppliers group.

According to an article on the Wall street journal, Macy’s had a lot of problem with their customers service, This articles mentions that a part of their training problem, “Several Macy's sales associates sat in a training room in the chain's Christiana Mall store recently hashing out sales-floor scenarios. Mary Martin, Macy's vice president of learning and development, directed the group's attention to a card at the center of the table with a statistic: Forty-eight percent of Macy's customer complaints are focused on interactions with sales associates. In Macy’s policy, they allow transgender people to change in the dressing room of the gender they associated with. The employee refuses to comply with the policy. The employee religious beliefs prevent her from recognizing transgender people. The employee should have followed the rules at the workplace even though it is not part of her religious beliefs.
