Luther (2003) The movie film “Luther” came out in 2003 and was directed by Eric Till and also produced by Christian Stehr, Alexander Theis and Brigitte. There were several actors that took part in the film. Three actors stood out that their roles will be important to the characters they will be playing is, Joseph Fiennes who plays Luther, Alfred Molina who plays the character Johann Tetzel, and Jonathan Firth playing the character Girolamo Aleander. Also a noble and noteworthy actor Sir peter Ustinov who plays the character Fredrick the Wise, who is Luther’s most avid and powerful defenders. The Luther film did a great job in giving an accurate picture of the situation of events that occur to what is known to be the Protestant Reformation that begin in the country of Germany. Luther’s excommunication from the Catholic Church. The people in Wittenberg begin to tear down the Church and rioting causing horrific suffering to Luther, Which he began to intervene in a disguise as a knight. The movie ended with the death of Pope Leo X and the Emperor Charles appeals to restore peace and order to the church and the city of Wittenberg.
