There are so many different kinds of languages in the World, while most people able to speak 2-3 languages; learning a new language can be a hard task. There are different kinds of approaches when it comes to new language, everyone have a different kind of method; we just have to find the best way that suits us. Most common approach is learning with a partner, when two people have the same goal, they pair up. Speaking a new language together through daily life can help them understand and learn how to communicate in that language. They can correct each other’s mistakes and build confidence. But when it comes to more complicated words or professional phases, they might need some help. After they finished the entry level, they can advance to communicate with some native speakers, maybe a friend or a teacher. Learning some advancing skills and phases can help them at work or personal life, communication is a great way to gain new language, but it required patience and commitment. When I first came to the US, all of my friends speak Cantonese, I knew I have to spread out and learn English. After a while, I made some new friends and we communicated in English, since then, I speak more fluently and wasn’t lack of confidence anymore. My father love books, he can’t stand technologies; and he’s very shy to stranger. That is why book is the only way get through him, if we put him in a roomful of people, he will run away. But for me, sitting there reading a book is the worst idea for me. I like making new friends, making conversations and small talks are my strong suit.
