The Lazy Generation Kicks butt in the workforce
Graduating high school had to be the biggest accomplishment of my life until reality hit me, then I realized I had way more to think about if I thought I could get through life like a got through high school. Working every day and going to college is the most difficult thing I’ve ever done, but I’m labeled as lazy because I complain that I’m tired from working a whole week and going to class three times a week. Generation Y also known as the Me, Me, Me generation is accused often of being the laziest generation but this is false. Majority of Y generation is actually very hard working, older generations cannot seem to look past our narcissism which makes it hard for them to work with us I’m assuming, but we get the job done and work for what we need and for what we want. Most millennials are hard workers and also smart, being the generation of technology we utilize what we have because it has works for us in multiple occasions. We also are the only generation that is better at switching from task to task, it’s not hard for us to move forward because of our great work ethics, and our ability to work with new and advanced technology. The type of experience that the Y generation has will affects how our lives will continue to be in the near future.
Generation Y seems to be the topic of everyone’s opposing conversations, because we are accused of being the laziest generation. In my opinion how can this be when we are still growing and maturing and molding into our own identity? Although it seems as if we are the wild and care free breed, we’ve been exposed to a massive amount of information in the world in such short period of time;
